The art of not knowing
We store your data encrypted, and that is it.
Many companies treat your data as a commodity, brokering your information between themselves and third parties instead of serving you.
No one really wants anyone to peek, sell, scan, or “learn” from their data. Your files are encrypted before upload, with clear explanations of how access and recovery work.
Your file is encrypted on your device first. We only keep the encrypted version. You decrypt it when you need it. We also keep protected account keys for email-based recovery. That means the service has recovery capability—we don’t call it zero-knowledge.
How it works
Design tenets
Privacy is the starting point, not an extra step. Files are locked on your device before they leave it.
Sharing stays precise, not all‑or‑nothing. You pick exactly what to send and who can open it.
Sharing has clear limits and a clear end. You set a password and time window when creating the link.
Receiving a file doesn’t require a signup. A secure link opens directly for the recipient.
Control stays with the owner at all times. You can revoke links and remove files whenever you choose.
Location and jurisdiction matter for trust. We run on European infrastructure with hosting based in Germany.
